About Us

Richard, a former athlete who has spent most of his life on the water, and his partner, Stacy, an environmental scientist and children’s author, set out to reimagine how a commercial building located in the heart of Humarock could become a beloved seaside escape serving adventurers, romantics, families and friends.

Launched in 2017, Humarock Boathouse is now a love-at-first-sight, go-to destination for vacationers and travelers looking to unwind, relax and explore a magical waterfront community. In no time at all, you’ll feeling the “HumHappy” feeling that makes Humarock Boathouse the cozy, cool, ultra-fun get-away that you’re looking for.


Just 27 miles south of Boston, Humarock is a gorgeous, three-mile-long barrier island that boasts a variety of friendly, local businesses and family-run seaside eateries to help keep you going and exploring!
